Our Mission
Every year, thousands of Native Hawaiians are forced to leave their homeland in search of opportunity. Rising costs, limited local pathways, and a lack of accessible training make it difficult for families to stay rooted in their communities. At the same time, Hawaiʻi is facing rapid growth in defense and technology — jobs that often go to outsiders rather than local people.
Puʻeʻa Learning Center exists to change this. We provide tuition-free, industry-recognized certifications in IT, Cybersecurity, and Electronics — giving Native Hawaiian youth the skills, mentorship, and career pathways to thrive right here at home.
Our Vision
At the heart of our community lies a commitment to empower individuals by fostering self-sufficiency through industry-recognized certification programs. Our graduates seamlessly transition into rewarding careers, thanks to our robust network of partners.
We offer certifications in essential electronics and IT, guided by passionate volunteer instructors and seasoned industry experts. Through our programs, students gain invaluable opportunities for local job placements and networking.
