Every year, many Native Hawaiians feel compelled to leave their homeland in search of greater opportunities. Rising living costs, limited career pathways, and barriers to accessible education make it increasingly difficult for ʻohana to remain rooted in their communities. At the same time, Hawaiʻi’s defense and technology industries continue to grow, creating valuable careers that should be accessible to the people who call Hawaiʻi home.

Puʻeʻa Learning Center exists to help strengthen our lāhui through education, culture, and opportunity. Guided by kuleana, mālama, and aloha ʻāina, we provide tuition-free, industry-recognized certifications in IT, cybersecurity, and electronics. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and Hawaiian cultural values, we prepare Native Hawaiian youth to build meaningful careers, support their ʻohana, serve their communities, and thrive here at home.
